For the second year in a row, we took part in a Washington, DC Christmas tradition: the NPR Jazz Piano Christmas at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The intimate concert, held in in one of the venue's smaller theatres, is performed on a Friday and Saturday night and the final broadcast is a blend of the two performances.
This year's show was just as good as last year's but included a performance from a 12-year old talent who has already received 2 Grammy Award nominations for his debut album.
Just as last year, here is a link to the show, which was broadcast last night. Put down the shopping list and wrapping paper, pick up a beverage, and take an hour off to indulge in the holiday spirit. Wassail!
